APPLICATION OF BLACK SEED

1. ACNE

Acne is one of the most common chronic skin disorders, usually affecting the face and sometimes the back, chest, and shoulders. It consists of various kinds of blemishes and if severe, can cause permanent scarring.

Acne Vulgaris is cells that line the hair follicle start producing an excess of keratin and sebum, which lead to a blockage of the canal. Once the canal blocked, conditions are perfect for a bacterium called Propionibacterium acnes to overgrow and cause inflammation. When the bacterium grows out of control, pustules or pimples form on the surface of the skin. An unhealthy diet and tension may aggravate acne.

Black Seed can counter skin problem early on. Usually, symptoms will diminish after about 2 weeks of regular ingestion of black seed. Take 1 or 2 capsules or 25 drops of Black Seed oil 3 times a day. External application of Black Seed will reduce scarring and discourage breakouts.

Testimonial:

A seventeen-year-old female, had severe acne on her forehead, and chest. Standard acne creams did not reduce the incidence or severity of the breakouts. She started taking 2 capsules of black Seed Oil 3 times a day, and within 4 weeks her skin condition began to improve. After 3 months, her skin was clear.

2. ALLERGIES AND HAY FEVER

Allergies are caused by an overreaction of the immune system to a substance that is normally harmless. The body’s defence mechanism is no longer able to tell the difference between harmless and dangerous intruders and fights all foreign substances. Common forms of allergy include asthma, seasonal allergic rhinitis (Hay fever) and perennial allergic rhinitis, which cause symptoms year round.

Application:
Black Seed Oil provides the necessary additional amount of unsaturated fatty acids that people who suffer from allergies need to balance their overactive immune systems. The daily dose of Black Seed Oil is 1 or 2 capsules 3 times a day or 20 to 25 drops 3 times a day.

If allergic reaction is already in progress, a Black Seed inhalation will provide more immediate relief. Put the Black Seed oil in a glass or bowl and add boiling water. Stir briefly and allow the mixture to steep for about 5 minutes.
Wash your face and drape a large bath towel over your head to create a tent and lean over the bowl. Relax and breathe in the steam deeply. Continue the inhalation treatment for 10 minutes. Repeat several times a day.

3. ASTHMA

Asthma is an allergic disorder characterised by a spasm of the bronchi (airway tubes in the lungs), swelling of the mucus lining of the lungs and an excessive production of thick, clear mucus. During an asthma attack, the airways become narrower and breathing becomes very difficult.

Application:
The essential oils in black seed have a mucus resolving and vasodilating effect, thus providing rapid relief from an acute problem. Black Seed Oil relaxes the airways and reduces the release of histamines into the bloodstream. Black Seed helps to stabilise the immune system.

The recommended dose of Black Seed oil is 2 capsules or 25 drops 3 times a day. Continue this dose for 4 to 6 months, then take a break for 2 months before starting the treatment again

4. BRONCHITIS

Bronchitis is an infection of the bronchioles, the airways in the lungs, and it usually occurs in conjunction with respiratory infections. To fight the infection, the body provides the tissue of the mucus membranes with more blood. The tissue swells, making breathing more difficult. Common accompanying ailments are fever and severe coughing as well as chest and shoulder pains.

Application:
Black Seed has mucus dissolving and vasodilating effects, which alleviate the symptoms of bronchitis. Take 2 capsules or 25 drops of black cumin oil 3 times a day. Additionally, black seed inhalation may relieve respiratory congestion.

Testimonial:

A seventy-two-year-old male suffered from bronchitis since the age of twenty. He was a heavy smoker with a chronic cough and frequent respiratory infections, and an X-ray revealed mild pulmonary emphysema. Tired of antibiotics and steroid inhalers, he began taking 2 capsules of black seed oil 3 times a day. After 4 weeks, the chronic cough stopped, and he has had only 2 episodes of bronchitis in four years. He no longer needs antibiotics or inhalers.

5. COLD AND FLU

The common cold and influenza (the flu) are caused by virus infections of the upper breathing passages. The pathogens are passed from person to person through sneezing, coughing or skin contact.
Black Seed helps the body overcome infections more quickly and ensures a speedy recovery.  By strengthening the immune system, Black Seed also contributes to preventing complications such as ear or sinus infections or bronchitis.

Application:
Support your immune system by taking 1 or 2 capsules or 25 drops of black seed oil 3 times a day. If you have already been infected, take 2 capsules 3 times a day. Black seed inhalations can relieve nasal and chest congestion and soothe coughing.

6. DIABETES

Diabetes is one of the leading causes of death in North America, and 12 million people suffer from the disease yearly. Diabetes occurs when the pancreas does not secrete enough insulin or if the cells of the body become resistant to insulin. In these cases, excess sugar builds up in the blood. One of the main symptoms of diabetes is excessive urination. Other signs include greater than average thirst or hunger and weakness or loss of weight.

Application:
The basic treatment consisting of 2 capsules or 25 drops of black seed oil 3 times a day is recommended. This treatment should be used for at least 4 weeks and can be continued indefinitely.

Testimonial:

The typical case of a fifty-eight-year-old woman who suffered from Type II diabetes. She had high blood pressure and was overweight. In the case of adult onset diabetes, weight loss alone often alleviates the problem. Only in rare cases is medication necessary to supplement insulin levels. Her doctor started by establishing a strict diet for her, and advised her to lose twenty pounds. At first the pounds disappeared as planned. Then, however, she reached a point at which the loss stopped. While her blood-sugar level had fallen, it did not seem possible to normalise it without the use of medication.

As she began to despair, the woman read in the paper about the effectiveness of black seed oil therapy. She bought black seed oil in capsules and started the basic treatment with the recommended dose of 2 capsules three times a day. In addition, she took a tablespoon of a special recipe of black seed powder, elecampane, wild manjoram and finely ground crabapple peels before each meal.

After 3 weeks, her blood-sugar level had been reduced significantly and her weight loss picked up again. The black seed oil also had a positive influence on the metabolism and digestion of the patient. After another three weeks, her blood-sugar level was almost back to normal.

7. FLATULENCE

Flatulence occurs due to an unhealthy diet, lack of exercise, stress and depression. When meals are not properly digested, gas accumulates in the intestines and cause discomfort.

Application:
The regulation of digestion is one of the most popular applications for black seed in the orient. In cases of chronic flatulence, eat 1 tablespoon of finely ground black seed each morning and then drink 1 glass of hot water with honey. In addition, take 2 black seed capsules or 25 drops of black seed oil 3 times a day.

8. FUNGAL INFECTIONS

The modern diet and lifestyle have weakened the immune system to the point that the once harmless fungi are now growing out of control.

Widespread antibiotic use accompanied by sugar-rich diets and birth control pills have allowed yeast to proliferate, and yeast overgrowth is now recognised as causing chronic candidiasis.
Candidiasis is characterised by fatigue, allergies and chemical sensitivities, immune dysfunction, depression and digestive problems.

Application:
Black seed oil contains substances that strengthen the immune system and discourage the growth of fungi. The ingestion of 2 capsules or 25 drops of black seed oil 3 times a day prevent the candidiasis fungi from spreading and weakens it so that it can be kept in check by the intestinal bacteria.

9. CHRONIC FATIGUE SYNDROME

The chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) is characterised by severe exhaustion, which may persist for months or recur periodically. Affected patients often lack the energy to perform most of their normal daily activities, and the disease can have serious impact on their personal and professional lives. Other symptoms include muscle and joint pain, headaches, confusion, depression, and anxiety. However, the cause of CFS has not yet been determined.

Many factors contribute to CFS and no single therapy has been proposed. One common finding in individuals who suffer from CFS is an overgrowth of Candida Albicans in the intestinal tract. Alternative therapies focus on supporting the immune system to foster general healing.

Application:
The immune system can be regulated through the ingestion of 1 or 2 capsules or 20-25 drops of black seed oil 3 times a day.

10. Gallbladder Problems

The gallbladder is a small, pear-shaped sac near the liver that stores bile, a yellow or greenish fluid secreted by the liver to assist the body’s processing of fats.
A diet low in fibre and high animal protein, among other things, can lead to the formation of gallstones by encouraging bile to become supersaturated with cholesterol.

Application:
Black seed encourages the gallbladder to flush out toxic deposits and to maintain proper bile flow. Take 1 or 2 capsules or 20 or 25 drops black seed oil 3 times a day. Avoid fat-rich foods and animal protein.

11. GUM INFECTIONS

Infected gums are red and painfully swollen and bleed under even the slightest pressure. The main cause is a buildup of layers of bacteria on the teeth and tartar. If the infection becomes constant, the gums recede. Bacteria then invade and attack the jaw until it can no longer hold the teeth.

Application:
Because of anti bacterial qualities, black seed fights gum infections and strengthens the tissue. In addition, gargling with black seed oil has also proven successful. Swish 1 teaspoon of black seed oil through the teeth for about 15 minutes so that it coats the gums and the mouth’s mucus membranes. Spit out the oil afterward (do not swallow).

12. HEADACHES

Headaches can be caused by a wide variety of factors and most do not signal a serious disease. The common type of headache is tension headache and migraines. Headaches themselves are not an illness, but rather the symptom of various illnesses.

Application:
The recommended dosage is 2 capsules or 20-25 drops of black seed oil 3 times a day.

13. HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE

High blood pressure causes no pain but in the long run weakens the blood vessels because of constant strain. This paves the way for serious illnesses such as heart attack, heart disease or strokes.

Application:
Studies indicate that black seed can contribute to blood vessel health. Add 5 drops of black seed oil to a warm drink 4 or 5 times a day and drink it slowly.

14. KIDNEY STONES

Kidney stones are usually caused by an unbalanced diet that contains too much fat and protein and not enough fibre. The substances contained in the urine are not excreted sufficiently and deposits begin to build up. Kidney stones can cause painful cramping that extends around the bladder area and the back.

Application:
Black seed syrup is an effective remedy. Black seed syrup is prepared as follows:
1 clove of garlic, 2 tablespoons of honey and 1 teaspoon finely ground black seed. Crush the garlic and mix it with honey and ground black seeds.  Take 1 teaspoon of the syrup daily before breakfast and continue the treatment for about 3 weeks.

15. PREMENSTRUAL SYNDROME

Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) is characterised by uncomfortable symptoms that begin a week or two before menstruation and recur from cycle to cycle. Symptoms often include headache, low energy, tension, depression, irritability, breast tenderness, water retention, backache, and abdominal cramps.

Application:
Black cumin has been used as a traditional remedy for menstrual complaints for hundreds of years. Black seed can assist in normalising the absorption of essential fatty acids, which is disturbed in women who suffer from PMS.

Drink 1 cup of black seed tea 2 times a day beginning on day 14 of your cycle and continuing through menstruation.

Drinking 2 cups of black seed tea a day for up to 6 months can also prevent some of the uncomfortable symptoms of menopause.

Black seed is an effective treatment for neurodermatitis. It soothes the itch, stabilises the immune system and supports the healing of the infected skin areas. Take 2 capsules or 25 drops of black seed oil 3 times a day.
Applying black seed skin oil externally can relieve itching and irritation.

c. Fungal Infection

If you discover red lesions on your skin with itchy, flaky pimples, you may be dealing with a fungal infection.

Application:
Take 2 capsules or 25 drops black seed oil 3 times a day. You can expect the rash and itchiness to disappear within 1 week.

Testimonial:

A six-year-old male had recurrent fungal infections on the torso and leg that did not respond to antibiotic medications. He often took antibiotics for other infections, which may have made him more susceptible to fungal infections.

He took one capsule of black seed oil 3 times a day for six months. After 4 weeks, the infected areas had cleared up completely. He has not had any recurrences. In addition, he has not needed antibiotics for any other infections.

d. Parasites

For centuries in the East, black seed has been applied externally to kill parasite safely.

i. Lice

Massage the basic recipe thoroughly into the hair and let it dry for at least 15 minutes in the sun or under a hair dryer. Allow it to stay in the hair for at least 4 hours and then wash it out using a mild shampoo. Repeat daily. In most cases this treatment is effective within 1 week.

ii. Scabies

iii. Psoriasis

Psoriasis is a skin disease characterised by thick, raised, red patches covered with silvery white scales.

Application:
Conventional treatment of psoriasis consists of cortisone therapy or the application of coal tars. Fortunately, Black Seed oil offers an effective natural alternative. To stimulate healing from the inside, take 2 capsules or 25 drops of black seed oil 3 times a day. In addition, keep the infected skin covered with a layer of black seed oil at all times.

Testimonial:

A fifty-six year old woman had been troubled since childhood by a severe case of psoriasis. Her back, forearms, calves, and scalp were especially afflicted. She had tried steroid therapy as well as a vacation to the Dead Sea, but the problem remained the same.

She began treating the scaly patches topically with black seed oil before a session of light therapy and after a bath. She also took 2 capsules of black seed 3 times a day. This treatment significantly reduced the scaliness of the affected areas.

17.TUMOR

A tumour may be harmless. A harmless growth is an isolated growth of new tissue. While it can press on nerves and neighbouring organs, it will not extend into any other organs. In contrast, a malignant growth (cancer) spreads into neighbouring tissues or organs and forms new growth. Tumour cells look for a weak spot in the organism and attempt to spread out from there. They are successful only if the immune system has been compromised.

Application:
Cancer Prevention with Black Seed

Black seed oil plays an important role in tumour treatment. It stimulates the production of bone marrow and immune cells and increases the production of interferon, a protein that fights the growth of harmful microorganisms.

For the prevention of tumour, take 2 capsules or 25 drops of black seed oil 3 times a day for 6 months.

Black seed for tumour prevention
2 tablespoon black cumin oil, 2 tablespoon finely ground black seeds and 1 tablespoon royal jelly.
